The Post bemoans something stupid and dangerous, though legal, and required in some countries: Revealing the author’s identity in blogs. Young and old jump out of the anonymity of everyday life into blog personalities.
Does a safer, anonymous blog defeat its purpose? Is the confidential diary–now open to all the world–not worthing reading if the author does not seek the shelter in anonymity, in a pseudonym?
Most of my clients would not do without a pseudonym. Their blogs are so successful that they can actually afford to pay somebody for support.
