Run Like a Bee

Someone loves the hulk I hated. Keeps telling me that it runs like a bee. I’m just not a Mercedes person, and the car didn’t like me, either.

Conversely, a lot of people hate the xB which is the first car that I love almost unconditionally. It’s humongous inside, not outside. Every nook has been deployed for good use. No wasted space.

Girl friend didn’t like it at all during the test drive and is now a convert. Back then, I didn’t like the pick-up and ordered an air intake to be installed in a few days. But the thing is actually quick, if not fast.

Girl friend wanted a couch, not chairs. She made me test-drive a couch car. Compared to the xB, it felt like an outdated living room. The xB feels more like a modern art museum, or an intelligent work space.

Everything makes sense in that car, no fumbling for controls like in the Mercedes. If it had tires like a VW Bug and my color instead of girl friend’s favorite, I’d probably exceed the joy limit.

So, end of Smart story until that car goes on sale in DC.
